Jim Blasingame Receives Highest ASBDC Award
The Association of Small Business Developments Centers bestows its Champion of Small Business Development Award on Jim Blasingame.
WASHINGTON, D.C., September 15, 2008 - The Association of Small Business Development Centers (ASBDC) announced the presentation of its Champion of Small Business Development Award to Jim Blasingame during the recent ASBDC conference in Chicago. The Champion Award is the ASBDC's highest national honor and is presented annually to the individual(s) considered to have made a significant and sustained contribution to the success of America's small businesses.
Jim Blasingame, president of Small Business Network, Inc., is perhaps best known as the host of the syndicated weekday radio talk program, The Small Business Advocate® Show, and is recognized as one of the world's leading experts on small business and entrepreneurship.
The ASBDC represents the approximately 1,000 Small Business Development Centers across the U.S., which are staffed by over 5,000 professional counselors whodeliver free business counseling and educational assistance to small/medium business owners and managers.
