Joseph Kilmartin

Joe Kilmartin is the Managing Director of Compensation Consulting at Salary.com. He provides leadership and direction on all client compensation consulting assignments. Joe has over 30 years of experience as a compensation practitioner, working for consulting firms and corporations.

Joe was a senior consultant for Watson Wyatt Worldwide, working in the Boston, Philadelphia, and San Juan offices. Prior to retiring from Watson Wyatt, Joe led their human resources consulting practice for Puerto Rico and the Caribbean region. During his consulting career, he has consulted in virtually all segments of industry including banks and other financial services organizations, hospitals and other healthcare providers, insurance companies, manufacturers, pharmaceutical firms, colleges and universities, utilities, not-for-profits, and government agencies. Joe held human resources executive and senior management positions at Wang Laboratories, GMAC Residential, and Danka Office Imaging.

Joe is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and is the recipient of WorldatWork’s Lifetime Achievement Award. Joe is also a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the American Society of Association Executives.
