Juan Hindo helps oversee IBM's "corporate social responsibility" initiatives, which provide IBM talent and technology to address humanitarian, civic and social issues. Ms. Hindo leads World Community Grid which enables anyone with a computer to donate their unused processing power to scientific research on health and sustainability. This award-winning pro bono program has enabled important advances in better understanding childhood cancer, solar energy and water filtration. Ms. Hindo has led sessions about these topics at high profile conferences such as South by Southwest. Juan holds a Bachelor degree in Law & Business Studies from the University of Warwick, in the U.K. She began her career in the business management and technology consulting industry. She has lived, studied and worked in Europe, the Middle East and U.S.
