Kathryn Gibbs
Kathryn Gibbs is the president and founder of Accountware Solutions Inc., an Atlanta based bookkeeping firm that serves as a full-service resource to QuickBooks® users in the U.S.
She has been a Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor® since 2003, but has been using the software since it was introduced. In 2007, Kathryn became one of only 30 ProAdvisors in Georgia to achieve Intuit’s highest level of certification - Advanced Certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor®.
Before starting her own business, Kathryn worked in public accounting for seven years for a CPA firm in Decatur, GA. The firm’s broad base of clients has given her extensive experience with numerous industries and non-profit organizations. It was there that she began using the Intuit family of products and before long, was in charge of training their clients on how to use it as well as providing technical support via phone and email.
By combining her love for bookkeeping and for teaching, she founded her business, in 2003 – with the vision of working with business owners on how to get the most of out of their QuickBooks® software.
Kathryn is a member of the American Institute of Professional Bookkeepers and the Intuit Accounting Professional Research Panel. Kathryn is also a member of the National Association of Professional Women, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, and serves on the Board of Directors for Music Time Learning Center, Inc. – a non-profit music school in Atlanta, GA.
