Manizha Wafeq
Manizha Wafeq has been with the Institute for the Economic Empowerment of Women (IEEW) since 2007 as a PEACE THROUGH BUSINESS® student, and since 2008 as our Afghan Facilitator. She has a Bachelors in Economics, owns an upscale clothing store in Kabul called Wonderland Women Clothing Co., started her own foundation for promoting women’s rights under Islamic Law, and works with countless government agencies on gender issues.--just to name a few of her activities. Manizha serves on the Executive Board of Afghan Women’s Network (AWN), a national platform for women’s advocacy and activism in Afghanistan. Manizha is highly motivated by honor and justice, and considers herself blessed to be working with women in Afghanistan.
